Robb:

Thanks for the update although a few minor items were missing.

1. An apology to George Gilder for disparaging his character and insisting that he had lied to the people on this thread.

2. An aplogy to the members of this thread who wanted to discuss NOPT from an investment or technological perspective for turning the discussion into a raging soap opera.

3. An admission that you were wrong about Gilder.

Oh and by they way thanks for wrapping things up for me. I was afraid I was going to have to do that myself but then you came along.

Don T.

Robb, I think Don is on the right track with his reply. Apologies from somewhere sure ARE in order.

I would correct you in that Gilder didn't "suggest" he "no longer" had a relationship. Instead, he explicitly outlined the extent of his prior acquaintance with this other Gilder in some detail and dated his last contact with him.

Without a scrap of evidence nor even a bad character reference, you continue to assume and/or suspect the worst. Frankly, as G. Gilder had lectured this other Gilder on the future of bandwidth and etc., and any number of other reasons, it is not wholly surprising at all that the other Gilder would have taken a position in Neon. At any rate, your standard for attributing "mind numbing" status to coincidence, seems very low, IMO. The things you point to would serve to ensure that these two would have spoken at some point. It's a smaller world at the top:-)

Don, I'm sure you don't really expect apologies from RobbRacer.
