AMD isn't using rambus for the same reason that intel is desperately reworking its rambus enabled chipsets

huh! could you provide a link for that?

rambus is not, at this time, suitable as a PC memory system.

intel and dell, ibm, toshiba, sony et al, directly contradict that statement.

The yields may be high

this is becoming quite hilarious...all year the shorts have been warning us of low yield...now we are being warned of high yield.

rambus parts don't seem to be making it in production volumes. Maybe next summer, maybe next fall, maybe never, certainly not now.

in the world according to intel, it is this fall, this year.
intel says camino in september. that means rambus in september...that is next month not next year.
