I have been telling my associates bail out of Dell for a long time. Unfortunately, they have held on hoping they can break even before they jump ship. Dell is doomed unless they use their grossly inflated market cap. to do some buying or M/A of companies that have proprietary technology. Marketing advantages alone will not keep Dell growing sequentially as it has in the past. Marketing is not something you can patent, all its peers have learned Dells secrets to marketing, so that critical advantage no longer exists. Computer have become a commodity item and those companies such as Dell that put these boxes together will have a lot of competition to deal with in the future. Recommendation - Bail out before earnings report.
