Based on the QQQ, XLK andSPX, the last local high for all three was July 19, and the local low was on August 10. Yesterday all three attempted to break the local resistance (for the SPX its about 1310) and failed by close. Today's rise above that and subsequent strength so far is very encouraging. Today's close should be the important number, as the SPX needs to stay above that 1310 number (use the same dates above for the thresholds for the QQQ, XLK or other internet or tech index).
