hmmm trying for some TCTY @ 3/8.. seems too many sellers and it went to like 7 1/2 so a tad nervous to jump in @ 3/4.. Maybe the drop has to do with FORMER APPLE management.. OT: I was in INIT about 10 days ago, but now have no position ... I think i mentioned about TCTY in one of my previous posts here ... I guess u dont know much about TCTY ... Their backers: Softbank, NBC, MSFT's WEBTV, INTEL, HEARST , COX, SOROS FUND, STARBUCKS, NEW YORK LIFE INSURANCE ... And they are routinely beating Geocities and the Globe in their monthly ratings ... Most of the management are former APPLE execs ... Yesterday, they announced 2 key deals with Alta Vista and Amazon's auction site ... Lastly, u remember how much Yahoo paid for GCTY .. 5 billion .. If TCTY grows at this pace, they should easily be worth at leat 2 billions ... Their current market cap is around 250 - 300 millions.. Just go to their site and u will know how good it is and dont ever compare it to HOOV. I hope this helps evreryone and potential TCTY investors .. U guys have still time to get in .. QP ends on Monday and unlike ML, its underwriters are Lehman, Piper, Volpe brown and Wit Capital.. Also expecting great PR releases .. in fact, TCTY has got the best PR team in my view ... Just check their recent releases and all the releases from 1996 onwards on their site ... U will come to know what its worth for..
