Red Hat v. The World

The tripling of Red Hat Inc.'s [RHAT] shares on their first day of trading is the latest sign that Linux is becoming a major server platform.

Despite torrential press, its U.S. market share (17 percent of servers sold last year) puts it behind Unix. The real signs of its strength are overseas. Europe and Asia are heavily Linux, and some developing countries have Linux on almost all Web servers. Red Hat will compete overseas, where SuSE and TurboLinux have strong market leads.Red Hat closed at 72 5/8 Thursday.

Mohan, i believe that insiders may sell before that as well
there are actually many different mechanisms that insiders can use
this is a general fact, may not apply with RHAT
on the other hand the price may motivate selling of different sorts
