Why are you getting all bunched up on this. First a couple of points.

CSCO GSR12000 is generating more revenue than the M40. Yes, different classes of product - but not by much... look at the specs.

Second, if CSCO releases a new version of the GSR, JNPR will be done.

Third, if CSCO doesn't have a new product in the pipe they will buy JNPR and yes... you'll be better for it since the price will likely be huge.

My point, that CSCO will find it unacceptable to have M40's in the core of "their network" does mean diddly. It wouldn't if CSCO couldn't control the situation but they can. They can either build a knock-off in which case your investment will be cut in half overnight, or they will buy out JNPR in which case your investment may double overnight.

That I believe is all I'm saying. JNPR is still a one product company... they will live or die by it. No need to get jacked up about it. Ligthen up.
