WTAA NEWS RELEASE
August 16, 1999
?WTAA? to Market Award Winning Nanton Sparkling Spring Water
Calgary, Canada: Chairman & CEO, Bill McKay and Nanton President, Brad Wallace, are pleased to announce that Canadian Cool Clear WTAA, Inc. (?WTAA?) has entered into an exclusive Marketing Agreement with Nanton Soda & Water Ltd of Alberta, a 20 year old company renowned for the quality of its products and its distinctive blue bottle. Early settlers characterized the water of the town of Nanton, Alberta as ?Canada?s Finest Drinking Water?. This accolade was expanded when the Company was awarded the prestigious Gold Medallion for the ?World?s Finest Sparking Spring Water? at the 1986 World Exposition. This agreement provides WTAA with tremendous strength in the sparkling water market, especially when combined with WTAA's "Renoir Sparkling Water" products (News Release dated July 27, 1999), which will be sold throughout North America. These outstanding products will compete directly with the world's best sparkling water products.
This Marketing Rights Agreement, which evolved out of the Letter of Intent announced in WTAA's News Release dated January 27, 1999, enables the Company to execute a more flexible and comprehensive marketing approach to the North American sparkling water market. WTAA will take over all of Nanton's existing food service accounts in Canada, including Safeway, the Earl?s Restaurant Chain and Canadian Pacific Hotels, whose properties include the Rocky Mountain Resorts of Banff Springs, Chateau Lake Louise, Kananaskis Lodge and Chateau Whistler. Nanton's historical revenues have been in the range of $500K, based on sales to food service and grocery store accounts in Western Canada only. Based on the combined sparkling water program with Renoir Water, WTAA expects to quadruple sales in Western Canada over the next year. North American sales of Nanton and Renoir for the year 2000 are projected to represent roughly ten percent of the Company's overall revenues.
Canadian Cool Clear Wtaa Inc. is ? a consolidator of 5.0 gallon home and office bottled water companies throughout Western North America ? layered with a sophisticated licensing and custom label national marketing program for small packaged bottled water ? topped off with prestigious sparkling spring water products that rival the world's best.
