Niederhoffer's book is by far one of my favorite stock market books. Although it doesn't contain hard trading info or anything resembling it, it is the ramblings and thoughts of an extremely gifted man. It is really a book on how to live your life to the fullest, taking chances, etc. He is a real Renaissance man...of course, he didn't follow rules and that was his downfall, but I believe he'll be back someday.

I had just taken this book down off the shelf a few days ago and was thumbing through it...funny it should be mentioned here just now.

PS...There is an article in a recent New Yorker magazine titled something like The Physical Genius. It's about people who have a gift that is in the physical rather than the mental realm. Sport stars come to mind, but the article revolves around a brilliant neurosurgeon who has incredible dexterity and can perform operations in a fraction of the time other experts can. Musicians like Yo-Yo Ma are also profiled. There is some good info that can be applied to trading as well...and I don't mean how fast you can type orders in!
