Jim: Thanks for the informative post. The only part I might disagree with is earnings. I think the revenue, margin and ASP numbers will be of greater import. That's what people fear. I'm not sure a penny surprise would bring joy if revenues continue to 'slow' in acceleration... JMHO

Short Dell just before earnings. The PC sector will, not might, have a difficult time maintaining their earnings growth. The competition is getting fiercer while the margins smaller. It is obvious Dell, mainly another box maker, is going to have a difficult time in the near future justifying their ridiculous multiples. Unless Michael Dell goes on a buying spree using the companies inflated market cap. Dell will, eventually fade as a dominant player in the PC world. It will take some time but it will happen.
