QKKA looking sweet, deals today with RoadRunner, Quokka Sports© Inc. (Nasdaq: QKKA - news), a digital sports entertainment company, today announced a programming distribution and promotion agreement with Road Runner (www.rr.com), a leading high-speed online service jointly owned by Time Warner Inc., MediaOne Group, Microsoft Corp., Compaq Corp. and Advance/ Newhouse. Road Runner's base of more than 320,000 subscribers will be able to access multimedia sports entertainment content from Quokka Sports' network starting with adventure sports. Access to programming on Quokka's motorsports and sailingchannels is expected to follow soon. As part of this agreement, Road Runner will extensively promote Quokka's content to subscribers through a variety of media. Quokka Sports will be marketed within the channel navigation structure of the Road Runner services specifically highlighting Quokka Sports co-branded programming and Quokka.com within Road Runner's ``Sports' section.
