Ti is the most abundant "minor" element in sedimentary rocks (major elements are Si, Al, Fe, Mg, Ca, Na, and K), averaging .15 percent in sandstone and .46 percent in shale. If I recall correctly, TiO2 is the most commonly found form of titanium. I doubt the world is in serious jeopardy of depleting its reserves.
