Last week's issue of Business Week had IBM listed in its 900 companies Corporate Scoreboard as third, behind only GE and Citigroup, in the Companies Making the Most in the last quarter. Their $2,391 millions in profits was only 57 million dollars behind second place Citigroup. "IBM's boffo gain over the year earlier period ... came from across the board increases in hardware, software, and services." Looks like the 117 test held and we will be knocking on Mr. Newhigh's door again soon.
