But Benjamin said he doubts that the free access fad will hurt AOL, noting
that lower prices have not attracted any noticeable number of members to
switch habits.

"Tomorrow, consumers will be looking for speed, not price," he said. "
Broadband access is too expensive for the foreseeable future to even be
