More comments on LCOS....Benjamin is hardly an Internet bear. He fully expects a rally to take place later in the fall and into winter.
That will be driven "primarily by consumers moving up to a considerably higher level of spending online
across multiple retail categories with real money flowing across the Web." In other words, he's counting
on this year's holiday season to move traffic online and out of mall parking lots.

But he's reluctant to call the bottom. Noting that there is "too long a list" of Internet stocks to choose from
and that there are "strategic debates over almost every stock," he said the challenge is not to pick the
low point for the sector, but to choose the stocks whose "fundamentals appear to be improving." In the
current environment, "we suspect Yahoo! may be the least controversial stock and will rebound first."
And, he said, "Lycos could surprise us next week by reporting a bit of profitability."
