I took a hard lesson on exit points last month and have since set up a probability formula to determine my chances of having a winning trade. If I have less than a 60% probability two days in a row I will close the trade in the future. This unfortunately,(or fortunately) came after having a 42% gain the previous month. I would be interested in discussing when it is you feel the market will continue a trend against your position and thereby close only the short leg of a credit spread. Had I done that last month I would have still had a good win.
