That is enough, children! Go to your rooms if you can't behave. As far as the debt offering is concerned I wouldn't read more into it than what it is. A reasonable way for companies to raise cash at relatively cheap rates. Fidelity recently did this for the first time that I know of and they did it not because they didn't have the money but because it made good business sense. When there is implied interest in selling your debt and you can do this for reasonable costs it allows your business great latitude in future plans such as acquistions or purchases.
