to: Lather.Rinse.Repeat from: truedog LRR, I live in the Houston area and those kinds of trucks are everywhere. There are even many of them on the toll roads who go barreling through the Eze-tag lanes and, it is a mystery to me how they get a way with it. Even though a photo is taken of every infraction,a lot of these trucks are old,beaten up gravel haulers,etc., who, I am convinced, have not made the proper arrangements to do this. As a result, we are having a rash of fatal crashes involving semi rigs and our dumb police dept. does not have a program for inspecting these vehicles. A suburb, Pasadena, does have an inspection program and hardly ever has an accident involving a large truck of any kind...TD
