<Next week AMD is going to make 500MHz K6-2, K6-3 available along with Athlons.>

Apparently this has been pushed out for yet another week (Is AMD waiting for Intel's Aug 22 price cuts to comeout before they release their pricing?). Also, there are rumors that because of segmentation/pricing issues only K6-3 will be released at the 500MHz speed grade and not K6-2. (one website reports exactly the opposite rumors. i.e., K6-3 will not make it 500MHz but K6-2 will). At this point, I am a little perplexed - either the K6 family is yielding very little at the 500 MHz speed grade or AMD is going through contortions on the segmentation strategy.
