Bruno,

You're not alone in having sold part of your holdings of SNDK. I just stumbled upon this:

"Mr. Lingjaerde led fourteen direct technology investments that have led so far to seven successful exits, including ....................SanDisk Corporation (SNDK) in the US."

ref:

I wonder how Mr. Lingjaerde defines "successful exits"!

The main reason I haven't sold any SNDK is because I haven't come to grips with the Federal and State taxes on the gains.
My average acquisition price recently increased from $10/shr to $14/shr when I exercised my 25 Jul calls.

Using $14 as the basis for acquisition and subtracting out the taxes, I calculate that my SNDK shares, currently traded at $88/shr, are actually worth $67/shr to me.

How does Italy tax capital gains?
