Hi guys!

Sorry to be horning in but some of the majors have been "PROMISING' something coming for a little while and they are all seriously into Gold. For interest's sake take a look at RTP (NY), Au (NY), and DBRSY ( nasdaq) which is famous for Diamonds but which actually makes lots of loot out of Gold by controlling Anglo American and hence AU.

These guys work on a long tether and have been around for a while, but they usually have a pretty fair idea what is going on. Wish I could afford to play in that league

Cheers

From HM's most recent quarterly report to the SEC:

In July 1999, the Company closed out US dollar-denominated forward sales contracts covering 245,016 ounces maturing in the years 2001, 2002 and 2003. The pretax gain of $35 million realized as a result of this action will be deferred and recorded in income as the originally designated production is sold.

Sounds like their bullish on the POG near term.
