Burt - RE: "Saw my first add for an Athlon 650 MHz PC."

Thanks for telling us. I wonder if this will satisfy Elmer.

Which company's ad was this?

That price seems suspiciously low. A 650MHz Athlon would cost $800 and a cheap 19" monitor would cost $300. Add a cheap R-W CD for $125 and with the 256MB RAM and 20 Gig hard drive, the $1400 price seems too good to be true.

Burt - Re: "Saw my first add for an Athlon 650 MHz PC. No brand name at all - but 256 Meg Ram, 20 Gig Hard Drive R-W CD, 19" Monitor - Priced at $1499. "

That is an incredibly CHEAP PRICE $1499, 256 MEg DRAM, CD-RW, monitor, etc. - considering the Athlon Prothetthor ithelf thells for $849 !
