Sam,

Good recommendation on those Yahoo posts. I read them and there was good debate on both sides. I still think that this price war will end in the death of one or two companies, probably being absorbed by other players. The reason I feel that bankruptcy is a necessary step is to eliminate the huge debt load that prevents acquisition from taking place even at these low equity capitalizations. An acquirer would be crazy to assume this debt burden just to eliminate some capacity from the industry - which is really the only reason to make the acquisition anyway.
