I don't mean to sound like a broken record Jan but if you are looking for short interest check out rbak or jnpr, etc. Those guys over there are shorting all the way up on valuation concerns. One guy on the rbak thread yesterday said "what kind of stock goes up 30pts/day??" and every other post is a shorter (of course you don't really know if they are shorting). We know what kind of stock goes up 30 pts/day don't we? A net tulip thats what! And this is the first leg up on that rise... those shorts are going to get pulverized in the garden with the spec bubble weed-b-gone.

>>The risk is -- Can they generate enough SHORT INTEREST? <<
Jan, quote me if I'm wrong? Any new IPO can't have short interest until they're 6 months old.
The only thing that the $billionaires can do is hedge.
Why would a $billionaire want to hedge?

>>They are positioned well to control the supply; but what's their strategies to stimulate the demand of their shares?<<
Jan, I'm hoping this mania will stimulate the demand.
I have to fly back to San Diego in about 5 hours, and I just got back from a party where all they could talk about was their stock options.:-)
Ps
I think I've had more wine tonight than William.;-)
