hey jman...ip is the future but the demand for asnd's older technology will remain strong for years to come...how many carriers are implementing terabit routers at this time..??..not many...i do not expect this market to get rolling until 2001-2002...plenty of time...

you are in this for a trade, i know...so these long term competition issues do not enter into your thinking...but for those of us with experience in this industry, jnpr's valuation is laughable...so we short, box and wait...

by december, i expect the insiders will have sold enough to bring the price down toward 100...by next summer, jnpr will be trading south of 50...

as for chairs, i have been breaking and throwing much more than that around the office for the past 2 weeks...yes we shorts are getting hammered, but we shall win in the end...the market always gets it right with time...

keep driving it higher and we will just keep adding to our short position...

hey jman...some additional points...you wonder if my statements are supposition or fact...the answer is fact...the terabit router market IS small...total sales this year will be less than 150 million...puny...

you question my statement that lu, csco, nortel and others will be there...well pal, lu bought nexabit so they are already there, tlab or nortel bought netcore...avici, argon and shasta are in this space as well...

study the industry before you attempt to hype on this board...
