New Stock Contest at DWA. Attention sports fans!!! This new stock contest will be centered around the NFL football season and will incorporate teams to play against one another through regular season, the playoffs and finally the XO Super Bowl!! How'd dey do dat? There are 33 teams, the same as the NFL, and when you sign up you are assigned one of these teams. No, you can't request a team and you Dallas people will just have to put up playing on the Niners if it works out that way! tee hee Each person picks two positions, one offense, one defense which translates into one long stock and one short stock. This makes 11 people on each team. You will be able to chat with your team mates through DWA's PnFology chat thread. You can then change positions once a week, everyone on the team can change their position, we can say "Change your play strategy" to compete with your next opponent. You will compete with one team each week. This will follow the NFL schedule. Let's say the first week the Niners play Philadelphia and the Cowboys play Green Bay. We will tally the winner by the total gain for the week. This will continue until the playoffs which obviously ours will be different from the NFL. Then, the last week will be two teams competing each other for the title. We will have interviews and a "play of the week" in an online newspaper and maybe some surprise guests! No DWA members, including me, will be able to play. On your team will be a mix of individuals and industry professionals and privacy will be guarded by giving you a code name which will be your "discussion thread" name. Your code to change your plays will be your own and no one else on your team can change your position. Oh, we will also follow open dates in the NFL so there will be one week that your team wont play. I think this will be a kick in the pants! Registration is being taken now. Only 341 people can play so sign up immediately!! You will have a chance to lock in your final picks before the game starts on September 12th. New picks must be entered by the Sunday night following the weeks play and the beginning price will be the close price of the previous Friday. There is a schedule of teams listed on the site and you can check your position. You will know immediately what team you are on once you sign up. Good luck and I want everyone here playing! This game will promote a team environment and get you talking to others, sharing information, and learning new trade or investment skills. Once again I especially encourage newbies to enter.
