Yes. Michael made a mistake about mentioning the 155 in June, but like Jing he is learning from his mistakes. He has stated as much. Michael should not have mentioned that he didn't actually enter the order to buy either, but he didn't do that in a gunslinger mode, rather he did it to support his position in a debate. There is no hope of financial psychological relief from that action. I was going to post the fact that I didn't think he went ahead with the order in order to support his position.

Michael willingly joined the effort to rid the streets of gunslingers and so he has 100% support from me. I don't see the rest of the cowards here helping. They're afraid they might look bad so they won't be glorified in Busineesweek or some such similar quality crier. Cheat, lie, steal, anything to get one more cent and one more iota of unripe ego, but never do anything honorable. It might look bad on your record.

The gunslinger is looking for relief from stress when they post. This is a psychological defense mechanism to prepare themselves for the possibility of loss. By seeking public chastisement they think they get rid of the potential pain. Actually the gunslinger aches when succeeding because when you get out, you know you have to get back in, and so you know the pain will be coming. When you subject yourself to public punishment you think that things will be providential in the future since you already paid with suffering. This ego defense mechanism is peculiar because as soon as some success comes, the gunslinger is posting again with boasts of reassuring conquest. This is the cashing in of the stamps bought with public statements of humility. When you see them making gratuitous comments playing the much extolled people pleasing game you know they were just market whipped. Trading is a syndrome of psychopathology and would take volumes to characterize.

You have to bear success and failure privately because that way you aren't escaping the outcome of your choices. When you make your success public and hide your failures you squander the tapas, the controlled energy, of your efforts. Escapism causes a misrepresentation of the past so that you don't accumulate valid experience and so you make the same errors repeatedly. You let your hard work leak out through the holes in your ego. The holes get there from desire and the ego is there from attachment.
