hey richard, see if this works. i think it's what you need: Question: When I start up Communicator 4.5x, or 4.6x and launch Messenger to read my mail for the first time, the message pane contains a Netcenter web page titled "Personal Communications Services". With previous versions of Communicator, this pane was empty. How do I change this back to just display a blank pane? help.netscape.com ironically, this netcenter page has always opened in my messenger pane also. but get this... now that you've brought it up, i opened messenger and it's gone. spooky. :) mark
