Libbyt - the stock prices are split adjust numbers from Yahoo's finance site. Here's the link to the AMZN table:

chart.yahoo.com

Per the table, AMZN closed at a pre-split price of 321.25 on Dec. 31, 1998 - that would be a post-split price of 107.083.

If the numbers I have posted are wrong - someone please correct me - I took the numbers directly off of Yahoo's site.

i checked amzn's dec 31 price on the motley fool archive site...

Eric's #'s look ok...it looks like amzn is down in 1999

so far anyway
