Michael, in no way did I mean to imply that the U.S. is or has been behind all the misery in the world! I simply meant that Steven, who has seen so much of the misery left behind the lunacy of various nations, must feel sadness when he sees what we have wrought, since he is one of us. I have a dear friend in the State Department who has seen this kind of lunacy among nations in many parts of the world. He too feels sadness when this country has had a part in the resultant misery.
