If you included Nov and Dec of 1998 in your rankings you get a completely different picture

But Michelle, the main "players" are different right now:

1. In Nov, 98, DB owned 22M Amzn shares. DB sold almost all of their shares by Mar 99.
2. Janus owned 8M Amzn shares as of Apr-99; filed 13G last week and said to own 16M shares now.
