Someone making a gratuitous comment does not diminish their credibility, necessarily. And how did she pull it out of context? You pulled it out of her post. Something stated as an opinion may not add to a post but it is far different than stating something as fact. And you didn't say that it didn't add to her post, not that it did not belong in her post, you clearly said it brought her credibility into question. A more serious statement.
