I wonder if i should buy Microsoft right now

I have been pondering over that question for about 2 weeks. If one buys it at current price and plans to hold for at least 6 months, there should be a great return---double in price possibly.
I personally don't want to get too caught up in trying to find the rock bottom price anymore(had been doing that). I had been trading it long in the last week but have realized this weekend that it is better to start accumulating or averaging out my cost. I now have a plan to add MSFT shares each month this year. In January or late December, this stock should fly!!

Re: "Monopoly of the computer industry"

Don't you mean: "Near monopoly of desktop operating systems and word processing software for PC's"

There's a lot more to the computer industry than PC software.

JMHO.
