Sam, I'm voting for the Meridian merger. It will yield a gain for Meridian shareholders, but I don't expect any significant move in DSS until the next announcement. The surprise underperform in the last announcement threw a little cold water on everything. FYI, DSS/Meridian chat is on the other Quantum thread Message 11060449 Not much talk on this HDD thread lately. Drive prices in the toilet probably has everyone discouraged. At least demand seems steady so unit shipments should o.k. Lots of rumors/speculation that someone has to drop out of the business with so much pressure on the balance sheets. Any comments? -TOKO
