eBay gets into e-commerce user software market. Their software can be used by one-person shops or larger companies. Their software for e-commerce is also enhanced with an embedded community of users. eBay licenses its software per transaction, not on a PC unit bases. eBay out does even MSFT. Gates would love this deal. Long ebay and hope for the best.

"Unfortunately, it is not easy to predict when the end will occur or what will cause the end of the mania." Now we're talkin'. Finally you and I can agree. This mania definitely will end, sometime and for some reason. One thing that has never (to my knowledge) been mentioned on this thread is that a catastrophic asteroid or comet impact will occur on this planet sometime within the next few centuries, somewhere. No ifs, ands, or buts. It will happen. In my opinion, beyond a doubt this event will burst the bubble and end the internet mania. And that's not even to mention quite a few other things that could happen, too.
