Ben Jaded, I appreciate your post. Lots of issues to address. I won't have time to research and respond for a couple of days.
I plan to attend the AGM on Tuesday. Do you have any favourite questions you would like me to raise?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards, Ed
P.S. Yes, I was a buyer on Friday. I will likely increase our family's positions next week as well.

Ben, I haven't had time to do any research, but I didn't want your questions to hang without some response.

"Whoop-de-do! A new spin doctor." This comment surprises me a little. I would not accuse CHT of spin doctoring. I would say there was no spin, no doctoring and not much hype of any type. My complaint has been that information, in my opinion, has not been getting out effectively. An in-house IR person, from my experience, is much better for communication about the developments and the company operation.

"Are insiders going to quit habitually re-pricing options?" This one hurts. I, in no way, can endorse or accept the re-pricing of options. Review my comments on the Pyng Technologies thread. Yes, I plan to discuss this at the AGM tomorrow. There is no way that IR, no matter who fills the role, can satisfy me that re-pricing is justified.

The majority of the answers to your remaining questions about numbers of shares, options etc. should be addressed in the annual report. I do recall seeing some of the data. If there is any information missing, let me know and I'll be happy to dig it up.

Yes, there are many Vancouver wonders. However, not too many are profitable with nicely growing revenues.

I'll post anything significant from the AGM.

Best regards, Ed

Ben, I did attend the AGM and met another Silicon Investor CHT forum reader. The issue of re-pricing of options was well discussed and I did speak and vote against it, on principle. Having said that, I do understand management's frustration. The company cannot afford large salaries at this stage of its development, so options become attractive. When the VSE drops from 1400 to 407, and CHT goes with it, there is not a lot of benefit in the original options.
The company anticipates filing the formal application for a TSE listing by September 15th. Some preliminary discussions have already taken place. CHT hopes to be listed on both the TSE and the Bulletin Board by the end of the calendar year. In my opinion, this should help the company with financing, expanding its shareholder base and, over time, improving shareholder value.
Record sales are expected for Q2. Probably in the $4.9-5.0M range. Earnings, after taxes, for fiscal 1999 should approach $750,000.
Internal growth is progressing well. Acquisitions, when they come, will be financed through a $3M line of credit. Happily, not from equity.
I am impressed with management and the company operation. I have continued to add to my family's CHT positions subsequent to the AGM. I am now bottom-fishing with a bid of $0.48.
Best regards, Ed
