Re: 35% of rmbs earnings hinge on pc sales

Minimum memory in a PC by next year may be 64 meg, but I expect most to have 128 and many to have 256. PC market is - very approximately - 120 million per year. For video game consoles, I have no figures handy - can someone help? - but I my best guess is their sales are in the low tens of millions per year or less, and the PC equivalent ram usage would be well below 10 million.

So even if you have decided to go with Sherry Garber's figure of 6.8% for next year, PCs will account for most of rambus's earnings.

My WAG is that your expectation for rambus sales is higher than Garber's :-)
in which case PC sales should dominate rambus use.
