I have considered cryology. I imagined being suspended for 1,000s of years only to awake to a race of alien cockroaches that have created a superscience. Actually, it would be fascinating. I wouldn't commit suicide because of that, so doubt that any future would be that frightening. Either one embraces tomorrow and the unknown, or is fearful of it. I have always embraced it. If the future is made of gods, then let me be a god; if the future is a race of fools... then I shall lead them into lightness for in the kingdom of the blind the one-eyed man is king! FT
