standing buy for your enlightening response.

yeah... I know the feeling.

You, after all, were supposedly working with your spouse to create a proposal for how the govt should be currently handling the distribution of information about Y2K.

I mean, I actually believed you were going to do it after you told us that you and your wife were pondering your response.

But I understand....

afterall, it's FAR EASIER to criticize than to create.....

...to destroy than to build.....

...to subvert rather to encourage...

...to complain about something instead of fixing it...

Yep...... I understand completely how difficult it must have been to try to figure out what to recommend.

Better to remain negative and critical of others than to venture forth to walk in their shoes and try to understand the decision-making process.

Bearcub,

would you please define what 'spot shortage' concerns you have heard the 'government' mention its concerns over? and where such concerned mentions took place? and who uttered said concerned utterances?

I was quoting John Koskinen from his interview with y2ktoday.com. (q.v.)

Clearly the government is concerned with shortages of cash.
