AA teaches what they believe will further their cause. I spent many years in the program and have seen a number of former alcoholics but, what I really want to stress is that GW gave no sign or confession of being and alcoholic. He did some collegiate carousing, went on drinking bouts and, probably, got drunk a few times. This does not make a person an alcoholic, whether you approve of drinking or not.An alcoholic has an addiction, not a disease as namby pambies like to call it, but GW has given no indications of any such addiction.

As for the language, if it is true, I am also appalled but, so far, there has only been talk of such language, no proof. Also, I would speculated that many, many people use such foul language but are never caught. Such language is disgraceful but no real big deal from a political point of view...TD
