No, I've never thrown a man out a window! Hidden one in a closet for strategic reasons though--think French farce. No Italian that I know of. Mostly German and English on my father's side; pure Celt on my mother's (source of the earlier citations re grandmother and great-aunt). And who says I don't enjoy a single malt from time to time? Not to mention Jameson's, of course! On the other hand, my paternal grandmother did have a man leap from the second floor of her house. Her husband had come home, you see, and the man was her daughter's boyfriend.
