DownSouth, Re. what brought you in? [ed]

Actually, I was somewhat late to the party, having deploying major resources to the pursuit of others, although I had been watching this issue since early 1998.

Why? - Answers in short: PMCS embodies all the coveted elements in high-tech investing from my perspective:

Fast growing sector....sustainable high growth in the foreseeable future....infrastructure play....broadband....the beginning of a robust semiconductors cycle...consolidated leadership (has steadily distanted itself from closest competition)....huge earnings surprises Q to Q (implying great managerial execution)....unbeatable charts (didn't even dip during the September/October 1998 fiasco).

What else would you like to me say?

Cheers,
Ibexx

PS: I was in both long commons and short puts. The 25 Nov 75 puts I shorted returned hefty profits in a week (sold at $ 7-8 apiece, bought back at $3.5). Position (of short puts) was closed on Friday. Not bad for the price of a couple of phone calls - sure beats my 14-hour Corporate day. <g>
