chalu2, I would say without a doubt that McDonald's had pretty good lawyers, too, who probably would have bulldozed a lawyer who wasn't very sharp. But there other factors to be considered, as I'm sure you are very much aware of. The jury has many restrictions to consider, and because of this may make a decision that doesn't necessarily reflect what they personally believe to be true.

I agree that McDonald's must have pretty good lawyers, which makes me wonder if there are other factors that they had to take into consideration when making their case. I'm just speculating here, but I can imagine people coming out of the woodwork, who would testify that they found rodents, insects, and God only knows what else in McDonalds food.
