That is reasonable enough, although as a practical matter few sharecroppers were in a position to leave Mississippi, and the major migrations of blacks to the North were consequent upon the rapid development of war industries, and the hunger for labor. Consider the tyranny of those who have the greatest interest in local events and the greatest local resources, the local political machines and financial interests. They are likely to be more intensely oppressive than a fairly remote bureaucracy, which is one reason that empires tend to dissolving into "warlordism". Anyway, I prefer the competition of various levels of government.....

Getting paid to surf the net is catching on like wildfire! gotoworld.com; Here is how it works, you download a browser interface program which works with IE or NETSCAPE, except it sort of looks like an AOL interface. You keep everything you had. And it also doesn't interfere with alladvantage.com's pay-to-surf service! There are literally no rules to the internet! :-) As pure and unbridled capitalism as the world has ever seen. Gee, thanks Al Gore. :-) Michael
