In my opinion:

Wind is an Excellent company, with an Excellent product, and an Excellent group of people.

There is no question in my mind (after 10 years in the RTOS industry) that Wind is THE company that will outlast all others. Everyone else will get acquired, stay a "second class player" or disappear.

The problem is that mainstream investors and analists don't realy understand what Embedded computing is all about, and where it will go.
Wind has recently started the push for branding their strategic focus as "The Post-PC" era. I commend Jerry (Chairman/acting-CEO) and Curt (VP marketing) for packaging this vision. "Post-PC" is so much easier to understand than "RTOS" or "Embedded Computing".

I urge all those on SI who believe in "The Post-PC" Era to spread this easy-to-understand, yet thought-provoking idea to your friends and comrades. Gates would hate it!

Cheers!
