That is $80,000,000 Revenue for Rambus

now that is a real drip!!!

who said that game stations provide only an inconsequential drop in the bucket?!!!

the majority of those sales will be registered in the later 1/2 of next year. so they will be posted to 2001 revenues.
that will be $3 of milehigh's $12.

with a cpu, the ability to perform basic household computer functions, and a modem to access the internet, are these game stations not in direct competition with the low-end pc market?

are we going to be able to buy a basic pc, plus an awesome game player, plus internet access, including 32mb of rambus rdram for under $400?

that will be an easy gift selection for Christmas 2000 for my 4 grandsons. probably only take 1 or 2 shares of rmbs to pay for 4 of them.
:o)

Re: $80,000,000 Revenue for Rambus

$107 component cost for memory per console? If you're expecting that kind of unit revenue from game consoles, you'd better scale the sales volume down to a couple of hundred thousand, not 40 plus million.

80 / 42 / .017 = $107 rambus cost per game console - note that you can buy a nintendo 64 or playstation right now for $99 at retail including your first game.
