tm,

Great job on the transcript. I hope you type faster than me. Brocade used to talk quite a bit about ports shipped:

techstocks.com

Vixel even came out the following spring saying they had shipped 500,000 gigabit/s ports.

I wonder what the "obvious competitive reasons" for non-disclosure are now?

T.M: Thanks! What wasn't said, and I infer: Brocade's competition is dominating the "high end", and EMC/Mcdata is going with the competition. wj

trend,

you are a master. thanks for the script. excellent reading. it seems obvious Brocade takes a page right out of the CSCO textbook.

i used to love hearing CSCO CEO Chambers act like there is absolutely no competition out there in the WAN and then later in the Ascend conference calls, CEO Ejabat (back before LU grabbed 'em) saying right back that they "don't even see Cisco" in there competing.

good entertainment if you ask me. i can't wait to be entertained by Ancor's next few press releases.

Trend- Great work. If I remember there seems to me question missing. One of the analysts asked about the discrepency of $23 million in revenue this quarter versus the 83 million in projected sales or something like that.
I was curious about the wording of the question. Not that it is important because I don't think they answered it anyway.
Trend-Thanks again Ed

tm...

Thanks for the Brocade notes. I only have one question:

What is a "ÒtornadoingÓ"?

;-)
