I've seen two different types of links to other SI posts, the long version that's the same as what appears in the location box in my browser and a new abbreviated form. Can you tell me the difference, why I should use one rather than the other, and how to do the second type?

Second question: I've noticed today two separate posts without an identified sender. They don't seem to be from the recipient. What's this all about?

Bryan on old and new SI there is this problem of a lag on the inbox saying you still have messages to read when you have already read them...I find myself going back to check frequently only to find there is nothing new there....any solutions planned?....how about a clear inbox button similar to clear message count button.

bryan,

i asked this question more than a week ago of rtev, or anyone. i realize that it should have been addressed to you, although we do get some very helpful responses from people like rtev.

i find the beta historical quotes to be extremely lacking in that they provide only date, price (close) and volume. gone are the useful categories of change (fractional and percentage), day high and day low.

beta does, however, provide the option of going further back. but further back without adequate information displayed is not a valuable feature, imo.

:)
