Appears software only which is available now. As the hardware solution becomes available to all then I vision that many of these software solutions will port over to the wave. Companies that want to take advantage of the new internet sales oppourtinities arn't going to wait for anything, they will use what ever is available but as soon as a better solution is available to the masses you can bet they will switch. The way the embassy is designed it will be able to utilize all the software tech business that is being developed and thus 'steal' the business right out from under them. This is a good thing, let the customer base build and the ideas roll as it will only increase our potential customer / revenue base. IMO USPS would love to have a more secure hardware based system, but why wait, I would do the same thing and take what ever money stream is available right now and sure wouldn't bat an eye switching when the time is right.
