Thanks for the responce, and I agree with you 100%.
So CPQ = LU chipset
and IBM = TI chipset.
In my opinion the real ADSL users will want the faster and newer PCs that have the built-in ADSL modems, and a year is a very short time in terms of how this will all pan out. I thought that CPQ was marketing their computer as an ADSL ready computer in that it has a built in NIC card. This resent news puts a new perspective on how fast the ADSL modems will/are integrated onto the PCs motherboard.
Not sure how much longer to hold this stock,......maybe another 6 months before the PC makers put the pressure on. Then their is the CO side with the big players like Alcatel and Cisco and Luscent that will dominate the market. Anyway I look at it Westell gets screwed. Any thoughts of enlightenment are welcomed. I just don't see any more hope for this company, sorry for being so negative.
